Nash Point visit

Watch your back!
I love Nash Point. I've visited it many times over the years but it still draws me back and I still manage to find new images.
Last saturday I nipped down there for a couple of hours to find a huge sea raging with waves of about 4 foot and an incoming tide. In my haste to get shooting, I set up near the waters edge, with the intention of getting a little water in the bottom half of the frame. Foolishly, I turned my back to the sea. Before I knew what was happening, there was cold seawater sloshing up to my thighs. So much for the wellies. Fortunately my camera escaped unscathed.
The featured image hopefully shows the power of the sea.
Images from this shot are now in the Glamorgan Heritage Coast gallery.
