Penarth pier
Well with a good fall of snow on the Beacons last weekend, I was drawn like a moth to a flame, only to find the A470 completely closed due to black ice. Frustrating to say the least. Instead I headed to Penarth Pier to try and capture a few images before the lights went out (they go off around 8am.) There was a light covering of rapidly melting frost on the decking, some low cloud on the horizon, and although it wasn't a spectacular dawn, it was nice enough and I got the images I had wanted (see Cardiff and district gallery for a few of them).
Here's to a Happy Christmas and a New Year in which the sun shines a little more than it did this year.
